CHESTER TOWN HALL

Why:

A great venue for both value and character, the town hall is slap bang in the centre of Chester so whether you decide to have the reception there or in one of the many pubs, bars and restaurants in the City you really are spoilt for choice. Chester Town Hall is one of the most popular wedding venues in the North West.

How & How much

Booking is Easy via the website at https://chestertownhall.co.uk/weddings. Civil ceremony prices start from as little as £495. Although the town hall is licensed for civil ceremonies the wedding planning and catering is done by horseradish catering. You have the option of four areas within the town hall for your wedding which are: The Council Chamber, Assembly Room, Committee Room and Magistrates Room.

Outside the box

Although you can choose to have the whole wedding within the town hall don’t forget that there is nothing stopping you getting the legal side done at the town hall and choosing to have your personal vows done elsewhere. Try to think outside the box and make it the day you want rather than be confined by the venue. We have shot many town hall weddings  which have been followed by cruises down the Thames, personal vows in a Greenhouse in Chelsea Gardens, Open top bus rides or receptions in a local pub. Its your wedding and you don’t have to go for the all inclusive package if you don’t want to.

While you are there

Chester is a beautiful City and if you fancy making a full weekend of it for you and your guests there are plenty of things to do especially in the summer.

The Townhouse Chester - Small boutique hotel close to the river with a great bar and brasserie

The Coach House Inn - The Coach House Inn provides good, affordable accommodation in Chester city centre. Eight bedrooms, providing comfortable, convenient accommodation and located next door to the town hall so you won’t have to walk far!
