Dani and Ali's wedding in June was set to the beautiful backdrop of the small coastal town of Brodick on the Isle of Arran. The wedding was a intimate ceremony of family and friends who had made their way up to Scotland from the South of England and Northern Germany for this special day. The ferry crossing the day before the wedding was magical as the isle shimmered in the distance on what was a stunning Scottish day. The forecast for the following day was just as good and thankfully for once the Met office proved accurate with clear skies and not a drop of wind. The guests were welcomed by Arran's breathtaking green hills with Brodick castle in view just across the bay. Daniela was styled by her sisters before being escorted into the ceremony by her brother- in- law, Maj Stewart Andrews, Royal Artillery. Daniela and Stewart were piped in by their very own Scottish piper before Stewart handed over the bride to Alistair. The groom dressed in his family tartan looked every bit the Scotsman alongside his brother Ian, the best man. After the ceremony every one retired onto the lawn enjoying drinks and aperitifs in the sunshine before being seated for the wedding breakfast. The reception was full of tradition with Scottish dance & music thoroughly enjoyed by everyone. As the day wore on and the sun began to set the newly weds made their way to the beach where they had time to reflect on their special day and watch the sun set over Arran as Mr and Mrs Kelso.
