When we first spoke to Mark & Jodie, Jodie was heavily pregnant and expected her baby within a few weeks. It turns out that Isabella was in no mood to wait and was born several weeks premature and she was tiny! Although we had planed to have a photo session with the new edition to the family within a week or two of the birth, due to Christmas and all the hecticness (is that a word Hectiness!) this time of the year entails, we couldn’t get together until Isabella was 6 weeks.
New born seasons are normally scheduled within two weeks of birth but Isabella was so tiny it turns out that 6 weeks was totally fine.
We arrived at the family home in Cheshire around 11'‘o’clock on a grey and overcast Sunday morning and after the normally chatting and a cup of tea it was time for mum to wake little one up for her feed. She quickly let us all know she was more than ready for some breakfast and was soon trying her best to make herself heard.
What we photographed that morning were real family moment all parents can relate to and images we love to capture on out in home, family lifestyle photography sessions.
We believe that its these ordinary moments as you bring up your family that will be the one’s you will treasure in years to come. Where will they all be in the future, will they look back on these images on a home they have moved on from and the seemingly everyday moments they have forgotten and remember how life was as a young couple starting out on their family journey?
